As parents of a child with autism, our concerns for her growth and development are constant. Faith struggled with social interactions and communicating her needs. She used to frequently hurt herself (head banging).
Thanks to the dedicated teachers and staff at MET Pride Academy she has made significant improvements in her behavior, speech, eating habits, ability to follow instructions, and even potty trained. She is much more confident now, and her receptive and expressive language skills have improved.
Faith has always struggled with eating, now she has become much more adventurous in trying new foods. This is a significant achievement for our family, which we attribute to the supportive and nurturing environment at Met Pride Academy.
These developments not only simplifies our lives, but it also positions Faith for success. We cannot express how grateful we are to MET Pride Academy for the positive impact they have had on Faith’s development and well-being. They are truly making a difference in the lives of special-needs children and their families.
